Chippewa Valley Museum officials hope the Internet can help them nab the thief who stole a pair of artifacts a couple of weeks ago.
Museum officials say they don't have any leads on who may have stolen the two small 19th Century travel guides, but they're hoping that, like other recent victims of theft, they might find the stolen goods and thieves online.
"We can do just what other people do. We can look on eBay to see if there have been any recent sales. We can look for antiquarian book sellers to see if they have any listed," museum director Susan McLeod said.
